Transvaal or the Republic of Transvaal or the Boer Republic is a nation situated in the south of Africa and currently stands as a independent sovereign state which gained independence from South Africa during the South African civil war of 2023, which in addition saw the independence of the Orange Free State, Cape, Bophuthatswana, Zulu, Ciskei and Natal.
History
Transvaal had been independent long before the union of South Africa and was occupied by Britain and fully integrated into South Africa by 1910 when it became the "Province of Transvaal". Overtime loosing more autonomy to a centralised South African Government but in 2006 there was a protest calling for more federalism and decentralisation and demonstrations took place in Transvaal's capital Pretoria which saw reasonable success.
