The Scilly Isles Rifles is an infantry platoon garrisoned on the Isles of Scilly of which is based to garrison and defend the islands to ensure civil security and protection of the islands. The platoon is comprised of two infantry sections and one special weapon section armed with mortars and heavier weaponry and a artillery battery armed with 2 L118 artillery guns.
