South African civil war
|
The South African civil war was a multi-sided domestic conflict in South Africa fought between various factions. The war was primarily between the Government of South Africa and the insurgencies to establish independent states.
Background
Cape independence
Due to the increasing strain of political control from the African National Congress, the sole ruling party of South Africa, it led to increased oppression of the white and coloured populations of South Africa, including one Willem Reibeck, a South African bloxian who was killed by soldiers from the South African Army.
Bantustans
For most of apartheid in South Africa there was semi-independent "Bantustans" also known as a Bantu homeland and it was a territory that South Africa set aside for black inhabitants to keep them segregated from the white Robloxians, the Bantustans maintained sizeable autonomy and whilst recognised as independent by South Africa they did not have any international independence with lobbying in the United States House of Representatives to not recognise any of the Bantustans.
