The Indicators category is aimed at documenting all templates based on indicating upfront information on an article, i.e whether it is a work in progress, archived or is a Template: Good Article.
Types of indicators
Good article
A good article is an article that has been deemed good in terms of reliability, credibility and accuracy. It being written with a neutral point of view and having cited sources such as screenshots, videos or things that accurately depict the topic at hand, such sources being things like message screenshots from a Discord server, or a video showing that happens. Good articles also explain the topic at hand in a detail matter and can get the point across.
Lack neutrality
A lacking neutrality article is an article that is not written in a neutral point of view and so has been marked with the indicator as a warning for anyone reading, typically these articles are re-written by different editors.
Stub
A stub is a article that is lacking in detail/too short, typically this is given to unfinished articles that no longer deem WiP status.
Active article
A active article is an article that is depicting active events and is subject to change or update at any moment, this could be it relating to a war, battle or situation in which new information is coming within the span of 24 hours.
Work in progress
A work in progress article is an article that is being actively worked on over a span of time that doesn't have incoming new data subjecting to change it, these are mostly done on when writing articles for old events which take some time to do.
Archived
A archived article is an article that is very rarely used, archived articles are posed to be for articles that revolve around completely unpoven topics or topics that have no garuntee of existing but have no garuntee of never existing. Archived articles are rarely ever used if not ever used at all.
Featured article
A featured article is is one that has been displayed on the featured articles tab on the home page.
Uncited
A uncited article is one that revolves around a topic that has a history of debate or speculation but the article itself has a lack of citation or evidence for things written down.
Who can give indicators
Only Wiki Administrators can give article indication, and even then no wiki-admin except the owner grandhappy can solely give an article, they would always need approval from grandhappy.
Rewards
Some indicators result in the author/authors/editors recieving rewards (depending on their level of contribution).
Good articles rewards
A good article could get any large contributor of the page (*prior to it being given a good article status) 70 gold. What makes a large contributor? Someone who has written or added a portion of the page or has contributed to making the page better/accessible or more readable/accurate, doing things like spell checks or grammar checks or adding a sentance will not make you a large contributor.
Featured articles rewards
A featured article would get any large contributor of the page (*prior to it being given a featured article status) 150 gold.
Requesting article indication
If an editor believes a page is deemable for a specific kind of indicator, then they must bring it up in the #Wiki-discussions channel in the Discord and the owner grandhappy or a wiki administrator will review it. Note, contributors are discussed by the wiki team on who is deemable of being a large contributor of an article. Usually it just involves having done multiple edits of good proportions adding accurate and constructive data to the page.
