Political parties of December 2021

The 4th December Elections and the 18th-19th December Elections were events in Cork's history that were infamous for nearly causing civil wars. There were numerous political parties in this era. Such as:

  • The Cork Sun Party (Far right)
  • Cork Republican Part (Centre right)
  • The Solid Party (Centre left)
  • The Nationalist Socialist Workers Party (Far right)

For most of this history Cork was mostly right leaning, infact communist parties were (and for the most part still are) banned[1].
