Corps

Whilst not a unit type, it is an administrative type that oversees the entire organisation/structure/regulations of specific types of units, there are numerous Corps, such as the Infantry Corps and Airborne Corps. A Corps is led by a Lieutenant General.

Divisions

A Division is a administrative unit that oversees an entire geographical region, i.e the 1st (Hibernian) Division which encompasses all troops within the island of Ireland. Divisions have Brigades and battalions and are led by Major Generals.

Division staff are not responsible for directly commanding units other than the Division's Brigades.

Brigades
