The Royal Corkonian Armed Forces (aka: armed forces, cork armed forces) is the organization that is responsible for the defence and the overseeing of Corcaigh's interests both domestic and foreign. The armed forces is split into three branches, The Royal Corkonian Army, The Royal Corkonian Navy, The Royal Corkonian Airforce. Whilst vastly separate from the Defence Forces, the Armed Forces does also maintain civil order and protection, the coast guard and navy share barracks and dockyards and the army also defends the borders with the border guard.

Main Article: Structure of the Corkonian Army
The Corkonian Army follows a Brigade-Regiment system where each province will have its own brigade, i.e 1st (Munster) Brigade or 3rd (Connaught) Brigade, in which Brigades will have regiments, regiments use a more different system, in which each county has its own regiment however if the county is too small it will be limited too an independent company or even an independent platoon. For example county Kilkenny does not have a regiment but instead a company.
Equipment
The type of equipment Cork uses varies a lot. Most of the small arms are leftovers from other countries stockpiles that were able to be bought for cheap and the rest is slightly better stuff or captured weaponry. One such example of leftovers being used is the FN FAL being widely used in service. The FN Fal and Aug A3 are the main weapons of the Corkonian Army, Navy and Airforce. Plans to fully replace the FN Fal with the Aug are underway.

Main Article: List of equipment of the Corkonian Army
The Corkonian Army uses a diverse inventory of equipment from around the world, the primary small arm is the FN Fal with attempts of replacing it fully by the Aug A3. The Aug A3 is expected to be handed to combat troops first, for the most part all garrison and non combat troops are issued an FN Fal.
