The United Nations or just UN is a group that is made up of member states that sets out on resolving diplomatic issues and global affairs, it is not led by one nation but instead governed by five nations that are routinely voted on.
Structure
The General Assembly
The General Assembly is the main assembly (meeting) of the UN, every nation in the world is permitted to participate, if non-member states participate they are put in as spectators. The General Assembly meets in weekly sessions at the General Assembly Hall located in the UN Headquarters, emergency sessions can be called by any state however if for no valid reason they would be dismissed.
