|
The Luftwaffe otherwise known as the German Airforce is the air arm of the Bundeswehr.
History
The North Atlantic Naval Incident was a small scale battle on the 11th January 2023 in which the German airforce at the time sunk 2 ships belonging to the Corkonian navy. It began when a German fighter was circling over a Pomernian cargoship, in which the Corkonian vessel CN-F-1 sent a warning to the aircraft to cease circling and disperse, in which all requests were ignored, and so a warning shot was fired at the aircraft. This resulted in the aircraft doing an attack run over the Corkonian frigate sinking it.
The Corkonian navy would reinforce with CN-D-1 a type 45 destroyer however that would too be sunk, Germany would end up loosing 1 frigate of their own along with 6 eurofighter aircraft and their ally, NSDAL would loose 2 small boats. This would result in the Cork-German war. The Pomeranian cargoship would also be sunk resulting in the German airforce being accused of committing warcrimes.
