The Army Air Corps is the air component of the Army. It only consists of helicopters and does not operate fixed-wing aircraft. All attack helicopters, transport
and utility fall under its command. It is the only Army unit to follow airforce ranks however its members are not part of the airforce. The Army Air Corps is also one of the unique Corps that has its own units. The AAC consists of its own battalions and squadrons that are not attached to any regular regiment. |
