The category Templates is for mediawiki templates, these are premade elements that can be implemented on pages using {{TemplateName }} Typically, templates are used too display premade infoboxes or designs, such as Template:NationTemplate, however such templates can just be for premade information, such as the subcategory Category:NationFlagTemplates which is used too make templates for flags of nations so they can be updated with ease.

When editing a template, permission is needed from wiki admins. Templates are used on almost every single page and provide the essential functionality too the wiki.
