|
The Militocracian Armed Forces (MAF), also known as the MAF, stood as the principal defence establishment of The Unitary Socialist Republics of Militocracia. It used too function as the primary military apparatus of the government, it drew its personnel from various governmental bodies, including the Ministry of Law Enforcement, the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Intelligence, and the Bureau of Counterterrorism. It comprised of a ground-based army branch, naval force, marines, air force, and a dedicated missile branch, the MAF mirrors the organizational structure of the United States Armed Forces, reflecting a model of efficiency and strategic alignment.
With a membership count rivalling that of esteemed international counterparts, the MAF boasted one of the largest contingents among Ro-Nations, encompassing a formidable force of 25 personnel within its ranks. This robust presence underscored the commitment of Militocracia to safeguarding its territorial integrity and upholding its national interests on both domestic and global fronts.
History
Before February 11, 2024, the Unitary Socialist Republics of Militocracia adhered to demilitarization mandates outlined by the World Assembly, relegating its members to civil roles. However, a significant shift occurred on February 7, 2024, when the Private Military Company Murkywater captured the attention of the then Inspector General, Z23N. Allegations of tax evasion and embezzlement were levied against the company's leader, prompting concern over the potential transformation of Murkywater's members into warlords, given their combat experience and arsenal.
In response, MegaNoobicus210, Minister of the Interior, brokered a groundbreaking agreement with high-ranking commanders of the PMC. This accord stipulated their integration into, training of, and contribution to the nation's military and expansionist endeavors. In exchange, amnesty was granted for their criminal charges. Consequently, the inaugural members of the reconstituted Military hailed from the Ministry of State Security and the Bureau of Counter Terrorism.
Termed as a pivotal measure, this agreement is celebrated for averting the specter of civil strife between the PMC and the government, heralding a new era of collaboration and fortification for Militocracia.
Organisation
The MAF exhibited striking parallels to real-world military forces such as the [Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)] and the [Russian Armed Forces], meticulously adhering to their organizational framework and rank structure. Additionally, the MAF adopted identical uniforms, headgear, and equipment akin to those utilized by the CAF and the US Army. This uniformity can be attributed to the significant financial support provided by the Russian government, constituting 35% of the Militocracian Government's budget.
Strategically positioned across all Socialist Republics, MAF bases served as vital hubs for logistical operations and troop deployment. Furthermore, the MAF boasted a formidable naval presence, with a fleet that comprised of 13 Ballistic Missile Prototype Submarines stationed in the Atlantic Ocean and an additional 12 positioned in the Pacific. This maritime capability underscored Militocracia's commitment to asserting its influence and safeguarding its interests across global waters.
