The Celtic Union is a authoritarian nation set primarily in Ireland which borders the Kingdom Of Cork. It is made up of 2 federal regions, 4 provinces, and 34 counties. It controls the Eastern part of the island of Ireland, and some territory in Northern Scotland, although it claims all Celtic nations (Other than the Kingdom Of Cork) as its sovereign territory. It is a federal ethno-nationalist militarily controlled Republic. The legislature is made up of Dáil Celtia (the lower house) whos representatives are elected citizens, and the army council (Upper house) which consists of members of military and garda leadership. The head of state Uachtaran Na Celtia (President) has absolute control over the state and all of its entities, he may pass laws without the approval of either House, but this is not often done. The head of state also holds the highest position in the Defence Forces, delegating control down to his General Staff.

History

Founding

The Celtic Union was founded as a union between The Republic of Cork and the Republic of Tipperary on the 23rd of August 2022, these 2 nations at the time controlled the whole island of Ireland between themselves. The union created the single strongest and largest nation in all of Ro Nations history, until the Republic of Cork left the union on 15th January 2023z prompting a civil war (3rd Cork Celt war).

1st Ballinlough constitutional crisis

The 1st Ballinlough constitutional crisis (Also known as the first battle of Ballinlough) was a conflict mainly in the Ballinlough region of Donegal which began on August 22nd 2022. It began after conflict within political leadership over the future of the nation and its constitution. The main belligerents were the Republican Volunteer Organisation (RVO, later known as PRVO and PROVO) the Irish Republican Army, rogue elements of the Tipperary Defence Forces, and armed civilians, against the Tipperary Defence Forces (reorganised into Celtic Union defence forces on day 2 of the crisis) and An Garda Síochana.
