The United States of America, commonly known as the United States (US or U.S) or just America is a country situated in North America. Currently it only consists of thirty states and a federal capital district (Washington D.C).
History
Civil War

After the collapse of Austris three new states took over in America, these being the Federal Republic of Western Forces, the Midwest Territory and lastly the United States and a short lived Confederate States. All having the goal to unite America under their own government. The United State took the eastern parts of America and Haiwaii whereas the FRWF took the eastern parts and the Midwest took parts such as Michigan, Wisconsin and North Dakota.
Government
The United States is a democratic nation which partakes in elections to determine who is their leader, The Constitution of the United States serves as the country's supreme legal document, also establishing the structure and responsibilities of the national federal government and its relationship with the individual states.
Diplomacy
The Department of State is currently the one in charge of Diplomacy & Foreign Relations within the United States, Currently the United States does not participate in any Diplomacy with another Nation.

The president is the commander-in-chief of all armed forces and appoints its leaders. The Military is often called the United States Military, it consist of 4 Main Branches, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines
