The Cork December Elections was the first ever attempt at democracy in Cork, at the time there was only the Ceannaire and Leashceannaire which were the supreme leaders, there was no form of democracy in the slightest. So the current leader of Cork grandhappy decided to relive the Leashceannaire and instead make it a democratic system.

The elections resulted in disaster and near civil war, however kingofcriminals would win and would become the uncontested ruler for 1 year.

Aftermath

Whilst the elections gave off more damage, it was seen as a relative victory as Cork would distance itself from a democratic system and move too be a military state.

International Reactions

The Celtic Union was the only one too react too this election, taking it as a chance too undermine the Corkonian state and call it corrupt and unstable.

Internal Affairs

The internal affairs rose due too this election, grandhappy, the current leashceannaire of the time, cracked down on corruption and the suspicion of vote buying, many accused grandhappy of favouritism too the candidate Katt due too them being friends irl.

Military Dispute

Kingofcriminals at the time of the election was most likely the rank of Lieutenant or some form of commissioned officer, his election was welcomed within the Corkonian Army at the time, however a small percentage were still BANN loyalist and wanted too see the return of BANN too leashceannaire. Some viewed the elections as detrimental too the army and hindered its progress due too infighting.
