The Kingdom Of Corcaigh aka Cork is a nation set on the island of Ireland. The nation currently is a Parliamentary Republic with an active monarchy, the monarchy still has full control over the politics, economy and military. The country actively is involved in major geo political events and holds large influence over the western British isles and participates in global affairs. The capital of Cork has been Cork City ever since the independence in 2020 and no attempt has been made to switch this, except for when Dublin was put under short temporary occupation, it was dismissed, instantly however.
History
Founding
Corcaigh started as a dictatorship back in 2019, at that time it was called "Republic of Cork", after the independence war which resulted in a Corkonian victory, the government soon took place. An official army was introduced as the main defence wing of the country, there was no navy or airforce yet there was still a head of Naval and Air operations. The government started development on new games, main ones being large headquarters which all by now have been decommissioned and put out of service. The official independence day is 4th December
First State Of Cork
In early November the first State of Cork was announced and it was a fascist dictatorship solely based on a supreme Gaelic Robloxian. Many symbols were used and made but the most widely used one was the Corkonian Eagle, which was based on the WW2 German Eagle, this eagle was put in government buildings and sometimes even put on Uniforms and Flags.
The Corkonian Eagle
The eagle was a huge part of national identity in Cork, it was used on aircraft, uniforms, cars and was put inside buildings and on flags. The eagle was everywhere and watched over every room. The Ceannaire (A now defunct position but back then was the dictator) even wore it on a armband. Tanks had it on their side and it was placed on welcome signs. The eagle truly was a national symbol of identity. It was on the flag of the Airforce and Navy and was the main bit of the Army, Navy and Airforce's logo. As time went on the eagle saw less use and was eventually taken off the Airforce's and Navy's logo and was only ever seen on the Army and in Government buildings afterwards. During the Democratic Era of Cork with the victory of the Sun Party the eagle was still heavily used and was a large icon of the Sun Party, eventually Cork was sprung back into a dictatorship then eventually a Monarchy (then dictatorship now parliamentary monarchy) and the Eagle has been entirely decommissioned and unused, the last time it was used was probably 2022. The eagle has been instead replaced by the Golden Eagle (a real life Irish eagle.) which whilst not put on flags or coat of arms is still recognised as the official bird of Cork.
The old Corkonian Eagle also saw much critique from most of the world, stating it was a stain from a horrible past of history and that Cork should stop using it, additionally it was banned in the Celtic Union entirely in 2022 and media depicting it was censored due to ongoing wars and conflict. It was sort of banned in Denmark and was banned in the United Kingdom however was used in Pomerania and Croatia in the Corkonian Embassy's there. The eagle was internationally disliked except by Croatia. Pomerania saw some distaste in the national symbol but refrained from down speaking it.
The first attempt of democracy
4th December Elections:
In 2021 December the Corkonian Government dismissed current Leascheannaire Junker (back then called BANN) in turns to elect a new Leashceannaire, the candidates were divided into political parties, these being:
Player Name | Political Party | Votes |
---|---|---|
BANN | Cork Sun Party | 3 |
kingofcriminals | Cork Republican Party | 10 |
solid_tech | Solid Party | 0 |
The election was based on majority voting, at the time there was no government council or upper echelon of the government so votes came directly from the people. Kingofcriminals won with an outstanding majority and became the new Leashceannaire and was a pretty good one at that, with new army reforms and economic reforms. There was extremely huge civil unrest in the later parts, many thought KoC (kingofcriminals) wasn't doing enough with his power. This would lead onto a re-election on the 18th December 2021.
18th-19th December Elections
The 18th-19th December Elections also known as the 2nd Leashceannaire Election took place after civil unrest erupted, most of the unrest was caused by BANN and the Cork Sun Party who claimed kingofcriminals did not do enough with his power and position and that there was still alot of issues facing Cork. The elections was somewhat messy with the first vote having a tie and the 2nd vote causing even more instability as a large amount of the country disagreed with the results.
The first vote went alright, there was 4 political parties of different ideologies and variants. The main political party was the Corkonian Republican Party which had won the previous election.
Player Name | Political Party | Votes |
---|---|---|
BANN | Cork Sun Party | 8 |
kingofcriminals | Cork Republican Party | 8 |
solid_tech | Solid Party | Unknown, assumed 0 |
katt | Nationalist Socialist Workers Party | Unknown, assumed 3 |
The 2 main parties that didn't win were forced to drop out and vote for two majority parties. The Sun and Republican parties were still drawing. In which a re-vote was done, this time the Sun Party had disbanded due to BANN leaving Cork.
Player Name | Political Party | Votes |
---|---|---|
kingofcriminals | Cork Republican Party | 8 |
solid_tech | Solid Party | 5 |
katt | National Socialist Workers Party | (dropped out) |
The elections ended in another republican victory, kingofcriminals would go on to be permanent leashceannaire till he left in late 2023. No election came after that and Cork became a dictatorship with little democracy. The elections proved it was too unstable for voting and general discourse and would instead need one strong leader as a national figure, both elections almost caused civil wars with the 18th-19th election being on the brink of a civil war.
Geography
Climate
As the mainland of Cork is situated on the island of Ireland it is actively hit by cold weather and storms.

Main Article: Elections (cork)
There are multiple types of elections in Cork, from the election of the prime minister to the council elections, to county elections, to parliament elections.
Counties
Cork is split up into numerous counties, as of 07/01/2024 there are 12 counties, these being
- County Cork
- County Limerick
- County Kerry
- County Donegal
- County Mayo
- County Galway
- County Clare
- County Waterford
- County Roscommon
- County Sligo
- County Leitrim
- Wicklow Autonomous Zone
Counties have their own governments and somewhat act independently, they have their own county militias, can impose their own laws and they collectively vote for the prime minister.
It works in a electoral college system where each county has a specific amount of points, and they must vote for a candidate, a candidate must win a clear majority to win. Of which comes the question who in the county gets to vote? The governor of course. All counties have a county council which are made up of a group of people, these are called councillors (or representatives) who vote for the governor, these councillors are councillors of regions of the county. Counties also each have 5 members of Parliament that represent them in the Parliament, these members of Parliament are voted on by the general public, these Parliament members are allowed to be in political parties.
Wicklow Autonomous Zone
The Wicklow Autonomous Zone (WAZ) is a semi-independent part of Cork situated in the Celtic Union province of Wicklow, it is an exclave (not connected to Cork's main territory and surrounded by another nation) , it was caused by the 3rd-Cork Celtic War when the Celtic Union obtained south east Donegal and in turn gave up a region of Wicklow which for the most part was under Cork's control since late 2022. Currently the Corkonian Army has military units deployed there as garrisons and peacekeeping along with gardai. Currently the WAZ is a hotspot for tensions between Celtic Nationalist and Corkonian Settlers with both parties claiming true legitimacy. There has been active diplomacy to make Wicklow a full territory of the Celtic Union again.
Armed Forces
Main Page: Corkonian Armed Forces
The Corkonian Military aka the Armed Forces is the main force of defence, it holds the Airforce, Army and Navy. It was established back in 2020 but as an extremely unorganised army with horrible rank structures, almost no formations and little leadership.
For the most part ranks were given out on ingame skill rather than leadership, and it would lead to bad situations where if someone was good at shooting a gun they could become a General in no time, however if someone had good leadership capacity yet was poor at shooting they would never progress. This system, whilst active for long, was abolished around 2022 when the ranks were majorly re-organised. Private Class 4 - Private Class 1 were just put into Private and Lance Corporal, Corps were no longer a rank and were decommissioned as a unit for a while, the NCO ranks were introduced, Corporal-Sergeant Major Of The Army/Navy/Airforce. The Officer ranks were entirely redone with there now being Junior Officers, Flag Officers, Senior Officers. During the 2022 there were major unit reforms, people were assigned regiments the main one being the 1st Cork Regiment (now inactive) and the 2nd Cork Regiment (now inactive). Additionally an Airforce was established and a Navy was established with its own dedicated troops and commanders and bases.
In 2023 there were again huge reforms to the ranks and units and uniforms. Regiments now followed stricter rules with each county having one regiment with their companies being specific Corps (Corps were re-introduced). The 1st and 2nd Cork regiment were merged into The Royal Cork Regiment, it was at this time Cork also became a monarchy. Navy and Airforce were sort of untouched by these reforms, however the Airforce lost its logistical role as a new Corps was formed, the Army Air Corps which is still in service, its main goal is to deliver helicopter based air support.
In 2024 there were major reforms to the Army, Navy and Airforce, new uniforms, rank insignias and structure.
