Berlinia otherwise known as the Republic of Berlinia was a nation situated in the eastern parts of Germany.

History

Berlinia was formed around the 23rd of March 2024 where it was based in Bavaria. Berlinia, despite the name, never held any control over Berlin, instead its capital was the city of Munich in Bavaria. Berlinia was part of the German Three State Crisis in which it was invaded by the German Democratic Republic in what would be the East German-Berlinian War, however the war resulted in a stalemate.

East German-Berlinian War

Part of the East German-Berlinian war was Operation Steiner where Berlinia was able to mobilise forty five soldiers against the Federal Republic of Germany and German Democratic Republic, the operation was one of the largest operations done by a single nation and resulted in a Berlinian victory collapsing the DDR.

Crisis of Saarland

The Crisis of Saarland was an event in which the Federal Republic of Germany invited Milishiya Ibrahim to its territories as mercenaries to fight Berlinia, this however would end when Germany halted the terrorists entry into the country from threats of invasion by both Cork and the Celtic Union.

Unification

On April 4th 2024 Berlinia and Germany united forming the Großdeutsches Reich, also known as Germany.

Military

Berlinia fielded one of the largest armies from March to April of 2024, being able to mobilise forty five soldiers in Operation Steiner which in its time was the largest operation done by a single nation. It held three regiments of six infantry divisions, along with three mechanized divisions and a air company.

The 1st Regiment and 2nd Regiment were both deployed on offensive operations to attack the north during the Three State Crisis whilst the Support Regiment was deployed as combat support, with it consisting of the mechanized units. The 1st Aircompany was deployed as air-support.
