The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands was a short lived "joke" nation based in the Pacific south east near Australia. It was the target of the 1st Crusade which saw a coalition of 11 nations team up to invade the nation and disband its government.

The Crusade

During the invasion the Coral Sea Islands were only able to rally 10 or so troops and two leopard 2A1 tanks of which their origins remain a mystery.

The Fall

Being attacked on three separate directions by a much larger 5:1 force proved impossible for the small nation, they surrendered the coast and the small town to focus on defending their military HQ in which a Corkonian Mil-24 airstrike flattened most of the defence and artillery from Celtic and Danish troops finished the rest. The Coral Sea Islanders surrendered on the 28th of May 2023 ending the Crusade.
